MGC Joy Club day trip to Tanjong Sepat

The Joy Club of Melawati Gospel Centre organized a one day Tanjung Sepat and Sepang Gold Coast tour on 16 April 2016. We departed from Taman Melawati at around 7:30am and arrived back around 9:30PM. Due to the overwhelming response for the trip we have 44 persons going in a bus and 5 more travelling by car.

Our trip to Tanjong Sepat begins with a visit to Oasis Nutra Ceutical Sdn Bhd where we were introduced to the health products it manufactures and also learn some information about healthcare.
Breakfast which consist of packed nasi lemak and coffee were served to us while we listen to the heath talk.
Next we visited Multi-Rich Pitaya Sdn.Bhd which is a dragon fruit farm where we bought dragon fruits, guava & fruit enzymes

Now is not the fruiting season so we do not see many dragon fruits on the branches

The dragon fruit flower only blooms at night and will wilt the next day.

There is also fresh dragon fruit juice and passion fruit juice to quench our thirst on a hot day at RM3.00 per cup

Our lunch was at the Huang Yan Food Court. Among the various food stalls the best is still the homemade Loh Mee
After lunch we continue our journey to Bagan Lalang, a coastal beach in the Sepang district in the state of Selangor

We then visited the Arowana Malayan Food Industries Sdn Bhd, a factory that manufactures tapioca chips.

Beside the various flavor tapioca chips the shop also sells sweets, other food stuff and souvenirs.
We continue our visit to Ganofarm to learn how the local people cultivate ganoderma lucidum (known as lingzhi mushroom).

After that, we continue our travel to Joo Fa Trading to taste and buy the traditional coffee.

Later we walked to the next street to the Pau Hai Yew Heng pau outlet to buy their famous pau.

Our next stop is the famous lovers bridge for photo taking but unfortunately the bridge is closed for repair. Fortunately there is the Qing Ren Qiao (Lovers Bridge) Cultural Street nearby which provides us good scenery for photos taking.

Our final stop before dinner is the Kuan Wellness Ecopark

Our seafood dinner before leaving home is at Restaurant Asam Batu Laut
After dinner we viewed the sun setting down at the seaside next to the restaurant.

Overall it was a very enjoyable trip with great fellowship and plenty of eating and shopping together. Special thanks to the MGC Joy Club Committee for organizing this trip.
