16 Days to Europe

Our Europe trip begins with factory visits to Strand Lighting factories in Rome, Italy and Kalcardie, UK with the technical staff from University Technology Malaysia, Johor. Is was a final acceptance testing for the stage lighting and studio equipment that my company supplied to the university.

 

Day 1 - 11 Dec 1994

 

Upon arriving in London early in the morning on 11 Dec we took the connecting flight to Rome. Since our factory visit begins the next day we joined a half day tour of Rome.

We joined a half day tour of Rome. Unfortunately we got lost from the group in The Coliseum and missed the final stop at St Peter's Basilica. We then had to take the train back to our hotel on our own.

Day 5 - 15 Dec 1994

Today after breakfast we depart Edinburg for London. We stayed in London for a few days before we join our Europe tour.

Day 9 - 19 Dec 1994

 

We booked our seven nights Europe tour with Cosmos London from The Thomas Cook Group for 669 Pounds for the two of us. The tour took us from London on 19 Dec to Rome, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Luxemburg, France and back to London on 26 Dec.
